How can PEAK PAWS help?
As a media outlet, we recognize that we have the power to bring exposure to organizations that may need extra help. The PEAK PAWS mission is to bring awareness and help support fundraising efforts of organizations that we believe can make a difference in the animal world.

Organizations PEAK PAWS is proud to support:

OWL – Orphaned Wildlife Rehabilitation
OWL is a non-profit society dedicated to the survival of raptors. You can support OWL by visiting, donating or sponsoring a raptor.  They also offer education programs for all ages, from kindergarten all the way up to senior homes! It’s one of the important ways of outreach by educating to prevent future injuries to wildlife and is currently being offered virtually.  Learn more about OWL at www.owlrehab.org.

RAPS – Regional Animal Protection Society
The Regional Animal Protection Society operates the City of Richmond Animal Shelter, the RAPS Cat Sanctuary, a fostering network, social enterprise thrift stores and the full-service, community owned RAPS Animal Hospital. RAPS is proud to be a no-kill organization, which is among the reasons they have built a strong and devoted community of animal-loving allies. Visit rapsbc.com to donate or learn more.

HugABull – HugABull Advocacy & Rescue Society
Founded in 2003, HugABull Advocacy & Rescue Society is a community committed to rescue, advocacy and outreach for bull breed dogs. They advocate for responsible ownership of all breeds and for evidence-based, breed-neutral laws in our communities. They are based in the Lower Mainland but service the entire province of BC. Visit hugabull.com to donate or learn more.

LAPS – Langley Animal Protection Society
Langley Animal Protection Society is a registered non-profit charitable society established in 2003 by a dedicated group of volunteers. Based at the Patti Dale Animal Shelter in Aldergrove, their staff and volunteers use a progressive and humane approach to care for more than 1400 dogs, cats and large animals each year. All animals that are cared for by LAPS benefit from environmental enrichment, frequent exercise, nutritious food and industry leading medical care. Visit lapsbc.ca to donate or learn more.

Cat Therapy & Rescue Society
Cat Therapy & Rescue Society is a registered charity with the government of Canada that specializes in special needs cats, cats from overcrowded shelters, abandoned cats and owner surrenders that are at risk of euthanasia.  Their goal is to help change the lives of the animals they rescue and the lives of those who have adopted them. They operate off donations and aim to give those who have nowhere else to go the opportunity to a better life. Learn more at cattherapyandrescue.com

Wildlife Rescue Association of BC
Wildlife Rescue Association of British Columbia is a registered charity, federally and provincially permitted to operate a wildlife rehabilitation centre in Burnaby BC. Injured, orphaned and pollution-impacted wildlife from throughout BC come to Wildlife Rescue to receive professional care and treatment. The Wildlife Rescue Association is mostly known for the wildlife hospital and rehabilitation facility. More than 5,000 wild animals are admitted every year which need help.  Visit wildliferescue.ca

Endless Pawsabilities Animal Rescue Society
Endless Pawsabilities works closely with Winnipeg rescue K9 advocates that rescue unwanted, neglected, and abused animals, often found in ditches, dumps, and fields. One thing that sets them apart from other rescues is that they try to match animals with adopters behind the scenes. They have adopters come out sometimes and meet the animals upon arrival and do what they call a foster to adopt. During this time, their adoption rate is quite high, as families get a longer trial with their animals before adopting. In addition to monetary donations used for medical cases, they are always in need of dog and cat supplies. Puppy pads, leashes, litter, food and crates. Visit endless-pawsabilities.org

SAINTS – Senior Animals in Need Today Society
SAINTS is a multi species sanctuary in Mission BC. Our animals are all either senior or special needs who had nowhere else to go. We take in animals who are unadoptable through traditional shelters. SAINTS is a non-profit registered charity funded entirely by donations. Visit saintsrescue.ca to learn more.
