The United Nations recognized 1975 as International Women’s Year and began celebrating March 8 as International Women’s Day. The official website of UN Women is the meeting point to mobilize, contribute, read stories, and find material to spread the message through social networks. This year they are asking you to take a stand using the hashtag #InvestInWomen.
