Off of their upcoming album ‘Boycott Heaven’, releasing January 23rd, ‘Holy Roller’ is a bopping reminder to live in the here and now. Landing somewhere between joke and confession, vocalist Nate Ruess dances the line of irony and sincerity. There’s an unserious seriousness to it. “I’d fake my death, if it weren’t such a mess / But I’m staying alive, just to see you roll your eyes, and sigh”.
