Chase the wintery blues away with February’s PEAK Artist of the Month – Shimbashi Station!
Shimbashi Station is Cody Clark on Lead Vocals and Guitars, Kristian Goze on Drums, Jeffrey Felix on Guitar and Keys, and Ivar Swanson on Bass Guitar. Starting as an idea in a Tokyo train station, the band played their first show at the Fox Cabaret in February of 2023 and have been playing consistently around the lower mainland ever since!
This band of Vancouver-area musicians blends local and indie-rock influences with their love for Japanese city-pop and anison to create a cathartic sound that sticks in people’s heads. In 2025, the band released their first full-length album, “Takeoff!”, a collection of songs, some of which the band had been working on for a couple of years. The album shows off a wide variety of songs, while still having a very distinct “Shimbashi Station” sound.
Currently, the band is writing and rehearsing new material to be released soon, and they’re always excited to get their music into as many ears as possible.
