With your help, Amplify Vancouver is showcasing Local businesses all over the Lower Mainland who are amping up their neighbourhood!

Goodbye Garbage is a Community First Garbage Company that cares about the planet and the people on it. They ensure that all items are separated and anything that can be recycled will be. Dumping is always the last resort. Whether they can recycle, up-cycle, or be donated, if they can keep it out of the landfill they will.

They pride themselves on being an inclusive employer of BIPOC, women, people with disabilities and those with barriers to employment at all levels of their organization. They have mandated having a person with a disability in 100% of their service trucks and that every employee starts at a living wage.

Any money or funds they receive from recycling metal or copper, they give back to local food banks. They also volunteer their services to the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre.
