READ: Have You Seen This Mural Yet?

Over the weekend I saw painters putting up a wonderful mural on the side of the Hyatt Regency Hotel on Burrard. The massive 42 foot mural which was fully unveiled by the YWCA earlier this week, is meant to offer hope to woman who are being abused, connecting them with resources and to raise awareness.

One thing that I didn’t notice about the mural was that there are QR codes imbedded into the picture, so anyone who is taking a picture of it on their phone will get information about violence against women, information on support as well as a link to donate to the YWCA’s newest housing project. Such an amazing piece of art with a wonderful message. If you have a chance, please go and check it out.
