Contest Rules
The Prize
- The prize for Tyler & Lynch’s Beautiful BC Tour Guide contest changes each week but always includes ferry travel for two and accommodation for two and is valued at $1,500. There are 4 prizes total.
- These prizes have no cash equivalent and are not transferable or refundable.
Tyler & Lynch’s Beautiful BC Tour Guide Contest Rules
- Tyler & Lynch’s Beautiful BC Tour Guide Contest (The “Contest”) will run from Monday, November 2nd, 2020 until Friday, November 27th, 2020.
- To be eligible to win a prize in the Contest, a contestant must (a) be a legal resident of British Columbia, (b) be at least nineteen (19) years of age or older or have a parent or guardian who is at least nineteen (19) years of age or older to claim any prize, (c) must not be an employee of BC Ferries and (d) have a valid credit card for booking and incidentals.
- For the chance to play Tyler & Lynch’s Beautiful BC Tour Guide, listen weekdays (Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays) at approximately 6:30am PST or 8:30am PST for the Contest cue-to-call 604-280-1027.
- Once the cue-to-call has aired, the station announcer will select a random caller who will get the chance to play the Contest.
- If the telephone connection between the station and a caller is not clear, such that the announcer and/or caller cannot hear each other or the caller is disconnected, that caller may, in the sole discretion of the station announcer be disqualified and a new random caller will be selected.
- The contestant must talk about a subject the station announcer has selected (in this case a BC destination) for :30 seconds to get their name added to the draw for that week’s prize.
- Every Friday after the 8:30am contest occasion, one winner will be randomly chosen from the eligible participants. The remaining names will be emptied to start fresh for the next week. Each week’s winner will be announced on-air the following Monday with Tyler & Lynch.
