Off of their latest album ‘Victory Garden’, your PEAK Song of the Week – Young the Giant with ‘Evergreen’!
The first song on the album, ‘Evergreen,’ serves as the introduction to the next step in Young the Giant’s musical evolution. “It kind of takes you to the Alice in Wonderland place,” says lead vocalist Sameer Gadhia.
Despite being the inaugural song, ‘Evergreen’ was actually the final song written for Victory Garden. Gadhia elaborates that it “really made us feel like the record had arrived, and that everything that we wanted to say was said. I think this song is the best example of that.”
