The first single off her latest album, ‘Loveland’, Back in Love weaves a deep reflection on overcoming postpartum into a summer beach bop.
“I felt like my identity had been cut open in becoming a mother and also having a lot of expectations on myself.” Waterhouse says, adding that when she first sang the lyrics to herself, “It’s like I got belief back in myself”. In addition to finding her own self-love, she found herself falling for partner, Robert Pattinson, all over again with their newfound parenthood dynamic.
