Rainbow Refugee is a Vancouver based charity that supports people seeking refugee protection in Canada because of persecution based on sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, sexual characteristics or HIV status. They support and assist LGBTQI+ refugee claimants in BC and across Canada through a private sponsorship program, facilitated peer support, referrals, system navigation, and accompaniment.
