Wednesday, August 2nd: Prance on the Pier
The Shipyars in North Vancouver starting at 5pm
Show your pride at Prance on the Pier! Come to the first all ages Pride dance in North Vancouver, put on by the Vancouver Pride Society in partnership with the City of North Vancouver.
Thursday, August 3rd: Welcome to Vancouver: A panel discussion on LGBTQ2+ refugees

Vancouver Pride Society in partnership with the Vancouver Branch of the Canadian International Council are hosting the inaugural Vancouver Pride Society LGBTQ2+ human rights panel discussion. This event will provide the Vancouver LGBTQ2+ community with an annual forum to bring together leaders within the LGBTQ2+ community, allies and government together to discuss important human rights issues impacting the community. The inaugural event will be a panel discussion on LGBTQ2+ refugees in Canada.
Friday, August 4th: Davie Street Dance Party
Davie Village between Burrard and Jervis – 6pm to Midnight
The Davie Street Party is back to wow your socks off! Presented by Fido, the Davie Street Party will have multiple stages, lots of delicious food, and great new art, along with so much more! The Fido Silent Disco will be back again this year, with 8 DJs to get you moving! There is also the ChillZone, presented by the West End BIA and sponsored by Together We Can which will showcase many fabulous bands, poets, and other performers. The two stages (the Celebrities Stage and Jervis Stage) will be hot hot hot with talent.
Saturday, August 5th: Terry Wallace Memorial Breakfast
8am at Jim Deva Plaza in the Davie Village
The Vancouver Pride Society invites you to join them for a by-donation community breakfast honouring one of the founders of Pride in Vancouver. Joing VPS bright and early, for a delicious and filling breakfast! Enjoy syrup-covered pancakes and other breakfast delights in the heart of the Davie Village. Share a meal with your loved ones, or new friends, while also acknowledging the life of such an important person.
Sunday, August 6th: Sunset Beach Festival
Starting at 11am at Sunset Beach Park
Celebrate Pride at the annual Sunset Beach Festival. This event brings together thousands of individuals in the LGBTQ2+ community and their allies for a day of fun-filled festivities. Enjoy the diverse entertainment lineup at the main stage, explore the Vendor Village, visit the Family Fun Zone and the brand new Community Zone, or dance the afternoon away to DJs spinning in the beer garden. Stay and take in the festival for the whole day, or pop by after watching the incredible parade. The West End is incredibly busy on Pride Sunday; walk, take transit, or #RidetoPride and park your bike at our by-donation bike valet.
Sunday, August 6th: 39th Annual Pride Parade
Parade Route : Starts at 12pm on Robson Street, Turns down Denman Street, Turns onto Beach Avenue, finishes as Beach merges into Pacific.
The 39th Annual Pride Parade is one of the major points of Vancouver’s Pride season. It brings together members of the LGBTQ2+ community and its allies in celebration, while also acknowledging the power of the community and the multiple identities that are a part of the LGBTQ2+ spectrum.
