When To Watch The Solar Eclipse
The 2017 Total Solar Eclipse [of the heart] happens this Monday, August 21st, and sky gazers and Instagram lovers everywere are scrambling to find the best spot and time to see the shadow of the moon completely block out the sun for a few moments.
According to Global News BC, the luckiest Canucks are US here in Vancouver, who will see nearly 90 per cent of the sun go dark around 10 am PST.
This kind of Solar Eclipse only happens every few decades – but don’t look directly into it unless you want that eye damage.
Monday, 10am for us here on the left coast. Maybe a good reason to be late for work? If not, Nasa will stream the full eclipse live and encourages us to use the hashtag #eclipse2017 online.
